DINING IN COZUMEL

We have so many favorites but here are a few to get you started!

IN TOWN FAVORITES

La Mission is one of the best spots in town for a Mexican lunch or dinner. Everything is great and the prices are reasonable. It is located just off the square on the south side on Adolfo Rosado Salas.

Casa Mission is the sister restaurant to La Mission and is located in a charming house off the Plaza. There is an amazing atmosphere and same great food. The restaurant is located near Calle 1 and Avenue 45.

Guido’s for Italian for us is the place. We eat there weekly and love so many things on the menu, not to mention the absolute perfect, romantic atmosphere. It is one of our favorite places to visit and should not be missed. Located north of town on Rafael Melar.

Kinta is very upscale and a little hard to find, but a wonderful and unique dining experience. As with Guido’s, the atmosphere is romantic and lovely. North of the Square on Ave 5

Sorrisi is another great spot for Italian, but is high-end and more expensive than most of the restaurants we have listed here. The food is great and the restaurant is beautiful with very gracious service. This is our favorite place for coal fired gourmet pizza with an extensive wine list. Just south of the Square on Calle 3 Sur.

Café Denis is a Cozumel standard, cash only and is located towards the back of the town square. Small, but great service and the food is great. The breakfast is great!

Mention your saw their website and get a free drink with a meal.

Al Pie del Carbon is a steak house offering a wide varies of grilled cuts as well as chicken and seafood. The grilled lobster here is excellent. It is a small charming restaurant located on Calle 3 between Melgar and Ave 5 and they have a second location on Calle 6 at the corner of Avenue 5.

The New Especias is an Italian restaurant also located on Calle 3 between Ave 10 and 5.
The food is wonderful and we love the second floor dining and the personal service from the owner.

Buccano’s is a beach restaurant located north of town. There is a 140-peso entry fee per person that is credited to your food and drink bill. They have a great menu and there is a pool and beach area. They can be very crowded on a busy boat day!
They are open in the evenings for a perfect romantic dinner, please make reservations!
